Compared to the Leica alternative the 7Artisans 50mm has a closer minimum distance - 0.7m. The Leica sports a 1m limitation here. Very often even 0.7m is too far away for my taste so I am glad that the 50mm 1.1 does not use the same minimum distance as, say, a Zeiss 50mm f1.5 Sonnar.
